This week sure has been a doozie. A crashed computer, an overheated car, travel plan miscommunications, and forgotten bills have plagued this week to be one that's probably better left forgotten. (quit while you're ahead kid). Maybe cut your losses while you can might be a little more appropriate. Either way, the local strawberry farm was calling my name for both fresh strawberry ice cream, and some fresh picked berries. A relaxing afternoon strolling the fields ended with sticky fingers and dirty toes (flip flops are NOT appropriate footwear for strawberry picking).
My dad is in town visiting so we're looking forward to trips to the beach, the local greek festival, and spending some time together. We're back up and running so check back to see what I cook up with all these fresh berries!
